FMI 4th Grade Chorus meets on Wednesdays from 1:55-2:35.
Students learn about proper singing techniques, how to sing in two parts, and a
varied selection of choral music. Working together is stressed as we learn to
create music with musical phrasing, diction, and dynamics.
FMI 5th Grade Chorus meets on Mondays from 11:30-12:15. Students learn about
proper singing techniques, how to sing in two parts, and a varied selection of
choral music. Working together is stressed as we learn to create music with
musical phrasing, diction, and dynamics.
The chorus will perform at three concerts during the year.
Students who perform in all concerts are eligible for the year-end pizza party.
Thursday, December 9 at FMI Gymnasium
4th Grade at 6:30 P.M.; 5th Grade at 7:30 P.M. (with 5th Grade Band)
Tuesday, March 15 at MHS Red Gym – Music In Our Schools Month Choral Showcase
Concert features choirs from 2-12 grade and begins at 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, May 17 at FMI Gymnasium
4th Grade at 6:30 P.M.; 5th Grade at 7:30 P.M. (with 5th Grade Band)
