Talented Hard-working Inquisitive Neat Kids
The program was developed because we believe that some students need specialized instruction and learning experiences to reach their fullest potential. The students chosen for the ELP were selected by a group of their teachers based on the student's proficiencies in reading, language arts, logical thinking, and math. Personal characteristics such as dependability, motivation, a willingness to complete work assignments independently were also considered.
Students will leave their regular classrooms to attend this program. The program will meet once a week for 80 minutes. The ELP program will incorporate interest development, thinking skills, and independent thinking investigations.
