Silent Auction
Themed Gift Baskets
Silent Auction of Themed Gift Baskets will take place at the Vernon Middle
School Gym on Tuesday, February 2nd from 2-6 pm and Thursday, February 4th from
4-8 pm. All proceeds will go to the people of Haiti. See below to view pictures
of a few of the baskets and for the opportunity to bid via email. There are
many, many more baskets on display at Vernon. Please stop by! If you would like
to bid via email on one of the baskets below, please email

“Thanks for participating in our Silent Auction for Haiti!
After conferences, the baskets will be displayed at our local Marion Banks until
5:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 11th. Top bidders, at that time, will be called. Baskets can
be picked up at the Vernon Middle School office.”

100% of the donations will go directly to Haitian Relief!

What organization is the recipient of my donation?
Donations mailed to the office of President William J. Clinton are made to the
Clinton Bush Haiti Fund of the William J. Clinton Foundation. One hundred
percent of the donations received by the Clinton Foundation go directly relief
efforts. Contributions made to Office of President George W. Bush are made to
Clinton Bush Haiti Fund of the Communities Foundation of Texas One hundred
percent of the donations received by the Communities Foundation of Texas go
directly to relief efforts. Both Foundations are public charities exempt from
income tax under section 501( c )3 and eligible to receive tax-deductible,
charitable donations.
Are contributions to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund tax deductible?
Yes, contributions are being received on behalf of the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund
by both the William J. Clinton Foundation and the Coomunities Foundation of
Texas, both 501( c ) 3 organizations. Donations to these organizations are
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We will mail all of the checks to the same address and all will be deposited in
the same fund.
