The objective of Capture The Flag is to successfully retrieve an opposing team’s flag from their territory and return it to your territory. The game starts with both flags in the jails. If you are tagged while in the opposing teams territory you go to the jail. To get out of jail, one of your teammates must tag you without getting touched by the opposing team. When you are tagged out of jail you can’t pick up the flag. You must to go to your side before you may attempt to advance your flag and you can’t get tagged on the way to your side because you get a free back. However, your teammate that is tagging you out can get the flag and advanced it. After you score you return the flags to the jails, start on your own side and everyone is released from the jails. There are many variations to this game and is a great cardiovascular lifetime activity.
